Motorola Triumph CyanogenMod 9 (CM9) ROM- v0.6.8.9

Posted by 4ndroidtech on March 1, 2012 at 9:25 PM

Finally, we have an update to the new ICS ROM for the Motorola Triumph. This is a rather small update but does indeed bring some much needed improvements to the CM9 ROM. This update includes the following...

"-updated kernel version to 2.6.32.11 (note: I had to leave the kernel version showing as 2.6.32.9 because changing the version number broke wifi)

-Added net data usage limit (thanks to NakeMcKn for reminding me to do that)

-Updated build.prop to ICS ID so Chrome works now

-Removed OpenWnn IME since nobody uses the Japanese IME" --Mantera(AndroidForums)

Anyone know when they think the camera will be working again or 'how many' more updates it will take before camera is working?
Also, does anyone know if the 'miui rom' is better?

The camera is a work-in-progress, but there is no guarantee as to when it will be working as of now. But I can say that this ROM has an advantage over the MIUI ROM, that being that it's being updated very frequently and the MIUI ROM isn't. Keep checking back for the new releases of this ROM and hopefully we'll see that camera working soon:)

My latest update cm-9.0.0.Triump-Alpha-0.6.8.9 occasionally reboots for no reason? Plus it gets stuck in the 'reboot cycle screen' w/o rebooting all the way.........I have to remove the battery and then it finishes the reboot. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Try a factory reset and get a clean fresh start at it.
